History

Barry's Dance Theatre Shop first started in 1958 in Papago Plaza as a children's clothing store. After a time, it was moved to Los Arcos Mall and started specializing in dance apparel for the arts community as Barry's Capezio. In 1976, Barry's moved to it's present location on the corner of Scottsdale and Oak. Starting in 2012 the name has changed back to it's original name of Barry's Dance Theatre Shop.
