HistoryIn 1949, H.C. Blankenship established Superior Termite & Pest Control, Inc. in Blytheville, Arkansas. After serving seven years in the U.S. Army, I met and married Mr. Blankenship's daughter. In early 1965 after serving nine years at S.H.A.F.E. headquarters in Paris France I was approached to come on board and manage the company for my father-in-law due to ailing health. So after being honorably discharged, I went to work for the company and in August of 1965, I purchased the company from Mr. Blankenship. In 1992 after attending the University of Arkansas my son Chris S. Lutes came to work for the company. In 2000, Chris and his family moved to Jonesboro, Arkansas in order to take over operations of that office. In 2007 we built a new office at 6225 Highway 18 East in Jonesboro. This office has become our main administrative office and Chris has taken on the General Manager duties as Vice President and co-owner.
