History

The San Dieguito American legion Post 416 has been an established member of the San Diego family for over 82 years serving veterans, service members and their community. The original building, built by World War I veterans, still stands today and is a true testament to the dedication, commitment, and the hard work of several generations of active members.

5 very big stars for the Encinitas Legion. Really nice old school bar. You'll always run into good folks here. On Friday nights you can bring your own steak and throw it on the grill in the back.

Oceanside Masonic Center

The Masonic Lodge of Oceanside is lodge number 381 and is located along Eucalyptus Street near downtown. Meetings are held Monday at 7pm; the lodge being used for other various activities throughout the week. The Masonic Lodge is the home of the freemasons, a private organization, and operates under master William VanDerveer Nichols. It is a gathering of men to discuss business, politics and other happenings on a local and global level. The Masons make charitable donations and do community service. There is free parking in the attached lot or along the street.
