Dr. Amruta Samarth completed her Residency training in PM&R from Baylor College of Medicine/University of Texas Alliance Program where she was awarded the prestigious Oliver R. Smith M.D. award for Outstanding Resident for excellence in administrative, research, academic and clinical skills. She is board-certified in PM&R and has served as Medical Director of Transplant Rehab at Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana and later worked at Memorial Hermann Hospital Institute of Rehabilitation and Research (TIRR) in Texas. Over the course of her career, she has treated medically complex individuals after organ transplants and life changing injuries such as traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputees and poly-trauma. She's fluent in Hindi and Marathi.
