Dr. Andrew Nobe is a board-certified UCI Health family medicine practitioner who is fellowship-trained in sports medicine. He provides patient-centered general primary care and musculoskeletal care. His clinical interests include preventive medicine, medical care for athletes of all ages, nonoperative orthopedics and sports medicine, musculoskeletal procedures, including ultrasound-guided joint and tissue injections, and sports-related concussion. He earned his medical degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine in Burlington, Vt. He completed a family medicine residency at the UCI School of Medicine, where he served as chief resident. Next, he completed a sports medicine fellowship at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center, where he served as team physician for Cal State Long Beach, Cypress College and Cabrillo High School. A lifelong passion for sports has led Nobe to provide medical care to athletes at all levels, including action sports athletes with X Games and World Taekwondo, among others. He currently serves as a team physician for UCI Athletics and also works with college, community college, high school athletes and weekend warriors with runDisney. He enjoys helping golfers and is certified by the Titleist Performance Institute to provide sports specific care for golfers. Nobe, who also speaks Spanish.
