Rousseau Wines is the realization of a dream that began long ago in the South-West of France and evolved as Yannick Rousseau, French native, founder and winemaker, followed his heart and passion for winemaking and the joie de vivre he learned at home. Yannick made his first wines in the Gascony region of France. In 1999, he moved to Napa (for a few months, he thought), fell in love with its terroir and his wife Susan, and has been making award-winning wines since.SpecialtiesWe are a small, family-owned and -operated winery based in Napa Valley, California. Yannick Rousseau, our French-born winemaker and proprietor, specializes in varieties that are close to his heart and roots: Colombard, Tannat, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Chardonnay. We are proud to be selected TOP 50 Tasting Rooms in Napa & Sonoma by San Francisco Chronicle in 2016 and TOP 100 wineries in the world in 2015 by Wine & Spirits Magazine. We are open for tastings in our barrel room by appointment only.
