Creative Planet has educated more than 200 students since its inception in 2000. The private charter school’s accelerated approach to kindergarten through eighth grade and skilled staff of teachers and assistant teachers provides students with advanced skills in reading, language, writing, math, science, history and geography. The average student tests in the top 20 percent of the nation on the SAT exams. Available electives include drama, dance, music and visual arts and after-school activities include acting, music, hip pop, ballet and modern dance, creative writing, voice, yoga, and choir. Enrollment costs just $300 per month and more than 30 students receive the Student-Artist Scholarship, which is a reduced tuition program.
