California Waterfowl Association has been operational for more than 55 years. A nonprofit organization, it oversees the maintenance of Northern California's waterfowl, wetlands and outdoor heritage places. Founded by the Duck Hunters Association of California, the firm offers various programs and services, such as wood duck, Canada goose, pintail and mallard programs; educational forums; conservation solutions; brood-rearing and wintering activities, habitat improvement and advisory services. Located in Sacramento, Calif., it also offers technical assistance for management of diverse habitats, wetland management, restoration work and teaching materials and services. Additionally, California Waterfowl Association provides federal junior duck stamp program; habitat fun packs; national wildlife week packets; activity and coloring books; resource kits and videos; slide shows and school programs.
