Professor Sumido (Sam Batchelder) is a student of Mestre Marcelo the founder of Capoeira Mandinga in Oakland. He has been teaching capoeira for kids and adults in Alameda since 2005. In partnership with Rhythmix Cultural Works Professor Sumido has been working for over 10 years to provide positive activities & cultural diversity and education for the Alameda community.
