Crossfit is less like a gym and more like a professional training experience. The space has no treadmills, no machines. Crossfit offers the open space of a gym and free weights. Clients work out with trainers and are pushed, focusing on ten different physical skills. If someone is interested in joining they have to seek approval from one of the Crossfit instructors: if you are considered in need of work, you have to work out at another gym or try the On Ramp class (like boot camp) before you can join a regular classes. Crossfit also offers free introductory classes to get questions answered and to try one of the workouts to see if it's right for you.
