The California Department of Motor Vehicle's Los Gatos field office is located at 600 No. Santa Cruz Avenue. It's been in operation for 38 years. Motorists use the office to obtain or renew driver's licenses, identification cards, take written and road tests to drive, register vehicle, titling and license plates. About 20 people work at the office handling thousands of transactions monthly. The office underwent renovations in the summer of 2004.
