The East Bay Asian Youth Center, also known as EBAYC, is a private nonprofit community-building organization. Founded in 1976, the center has a membership of more than 700 families who provide services in after-school learning centers, located at Franklin Elementary School, Garfield Elementary School, Manzanita Elementary School, Roosevelt Middle School and the East Bay Asian Youth Center. Its after-school learning centers provide a range of learning activities, including academic instruction, college and career awareness, health education, sports, outdoor adventures, community service projects, and visual and media arts. The East Bay Asian Youth Center offers internships for students, such as reading and sports coaches, social action researchers and documentary video producers. The East Bay Asian Youth Center is located in Oakland, Calif.
