The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses is located across the street from the Newark Pavilion. According to church members, the site was once a Wells Fargo Bank location. Church members say they worship and study the Bible as one family. Members say the worship space, with its lecture podium, lavender carpet and padded seats, was designed like to look like a lecture hall in order to encourage learning and studying. The best way to learn more about the church is through the Sunday worship services, church members say. The church offers Spanish-language worship services. Church members have participated in missionary trips to Croatia and the Philippines.
