Kulak’s Woodshed is a small venue that features singer-songwriters from all over Los Angeles. In operation since 1999, the venue is unique in that it offers live webcast TV recording to promote the acts that come and play the venue. Open mic nights are on Mondays, with other pre-scheduled entertainment throughout the week. Another unique facet of this creative space is that it is operated by volunteers and funded by audience donation. The venue is also “all ages” friendly, and although it does not house a formal food area, self-serve snacks, coffee and teas are available.
