The West Central Family Mental Health Center is a part of the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health (DMH), which provides a range of mental health care services. It offers mental health assessment, crisis intervention, case management and medication support services. The department staffs psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, medical doctors and clergymen. It serves people with low-income, as well as functional disabilities that include children and youths of various age groups. Additionally, the department provides family support and respite care services. The Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health is operated by the County of Los Angeles in California, which was established in 1850.
