Since 1985, Loved Ones Victims Services has been a support group for family and friends dealing with the grief suffered from homicides. Children are provided with specialized case management and grief support. Traumatic stress that occurs after a homicide can lead to many problems that can be addressed through group and private session. LOVS has group sessions and has mental health professionals and peer counselors ready to assist families with the problems associated with their loss. Some of the symptoms of grief are shock, frustration, anger, guilt, regret, denial, panic, fear, depression, isolation and emotional distress. Donations are accepted and welcome.
