In 1941, Mill Valley Nursery School was established by six local mothers as a cooperative nursery school. Run by director Cathy Davis since 1993, Mill Valley Nursery School continues to act as a co-op, owned by its members, who help Davis shape and run the program. Mill Valley Nursery School advocates for play-based learning in the early years.

Spring Hill Montessori

Spring Hill Montessori provides bilingual and global Montessori education to toddlers, preschoolers and elementary students that focuses on the the individual development of each student. Its multi-age classes and small student-to-teacher ratios (12:1 for preschool and elementary classrooms and 6:1 for toddlers) allow students the opportunities to learn from classmates under the professional guidance of experienced teachers.
