Robert A. Millikan High School, located in Long Beach, Calif., is part of Los Angeles Unified School District. Its educational programs emphasize an use of technology and science. The school enrolls more than 4,200 students in grades nine through 12. It offers a comprehensive education and its core courses include English, social science, mathematics and science. In addition to core subjects, students have the opportunity to take courses in foreign language, visual arts, drama, physical education, family and consumer science, business education and a variety of other technology, cooperative and apprenticeship programs. Advanced placement courses are available for students who wish to earn college credit while in high school. Robert A.
