History
Mythic Games was founded by Magic: the Gathering players for Magic: the Gathering players. In March 2012 we expanded into games of all kinds while keeping with the theory that Santa Cruz gamers need a clean well lit place to play.

Mythic Games is the premier place to play Magic: the Gathering in Santa Cruz. In addition to a full house every for every Friday Night Magic we have Magic events every night of the week. Mythic Games is also home to strong Warhammer, Warhammer 40,000, and Infinity groups. Our Infinity players meet on Tuesdays, Warhammer players meet on Wednesdays, and Warhammer 40,000 players on Thursdays. For these, and any miniature games, we have plenty of store terrain that is always available to use. Our selection of role playing and board games is always growing and always contains the hottest new arrivals. We have a game library which includes copies of Ascension, Lords of Waterdeep, Fluxx, Set, Tokaido, and much more. These games are always available to be played, just come in and ask to see them.
