National Raisin Company is one of the largest independent raisin processors in the industry. The companys 60-acre, state-of-the-art facility located in California's San Joaquin Valley, processes more than 100 million pounds of raisins annually. Brothers Ernest, Krikor and Kenneth Bedrosian founded National Raisin Company in 1969. The company developed the poly paper tray used during the sun-drying process of grapes into raisins. The poly tray provides greater moisture protection and reduces the incidence of mold when rain occurs. National Raisin Company sells domestically and exports to more than 35 countries. The company also provides dried plums, prunes and apricots, and can provide private label and language specific packaging.
