People come from all over the Bay Area to visit this Nation's. It is one of the only restaurants in El Cerrito open 24 hours, seven days a week. It is part of a local Bay Area chain that has specialized in pies and hamburgers since 1952. Russ Harvey, founder of the original Harvey's Giant Hamburgers, hired Nation's Giant Hamburger's founder Dale Power in the '70s. In 1970, the first Nation's opened in Oakland's Jack London Square. The chain has since expanded all the way to Daly City and Vallejo, with 24 locations total.
This location is large and clean with a friendly staff. You'll enjoy generous portions of hamburgers, breakfasts and pies, from banana cream to pumpkin. The pie slices are gigantic and can feed two people.
