Sacramento Waldorf School, established in 1959 and located in Fair Oaks, Calif., is an independent and coeducational institution that provides classes from kindergarten through grade 12 in a lower, middle and high school levels. Its lower school programs include number concepts, reading and writing, foreign languages, painting, gardening, knitting, movement, music and drama, and eurythmy. The middle and upper levels curriculum includes sciences, humanities, mathematics, arts, crafts, and music, foreign languages, creative writing, business, computer education, and technology. Sacramento Waldorf School offers vocational and careeroriented subjects at the high school level. The school provides a wide range of extracurricular activities and social events, including yearbook, school newspaper, drama, sports, community service, dance, ecology, and outdoor activities. Sacramento Waldorf School is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, and Association of Waldorf Schools of North America.
