Constellation Entertainment is the production company of film producer Brad M. Gilbert, who also has writing and directing credits for the films Touch of a Stranger and The Lost. Mr. Gilbert started in television in the late 1970s, working production assistant jobs for several shows on NBC and CBS. He made the jump to the film world with his 1990 debut project, Touch of a Stranger, staring Shelley Winters and produced by Viking Films. Constellation Entertainment came about in 2006 to get the ball rolling on Gilbert's most critically acclaimed film to date, The Loss of a Teardrop Diamond, directed by Jodie Markell. This adaptation of an unpublished work by lauded American playwright Tennessee Williams was released in 2009, followed a year later by Constellation and Gilbert's next co-production, Afterlife with Christina Ricci and Liam Neeson.
