History
The theme of Subs On Hubs was to provide the Bay Area with authentic N.Y. City style Greek and Italian casual gourmet comfort food. I am Jon Ranis, owner, I am from New York and have been in S.F. almost 30 years now. I have classic French training and have worked and consulted in more than 20 restaurants in S.F. I was inspired by the lack of the basic staples that I became addicted to in N.Y.C. and wanted to fill that void for others who felt the same! In terms of our menu theme, we have a large assortment of classic Subs and Gyros as well as my own creations, a vegetarian Portabella mushroom cheese steak and a vegetarian gyro. We also serve Angus burgers and All-Beef hot dogs for those who prefer a plainer or more classic meal. We often have a Cajun special, the Blackened Tilapia Po-Boy.

We have THE best and most Authentic Greek Gyros and hot and cold Italian Subs in San Francisco! We also have some regular rotating specials such as the Angus Burger, Blackened Tilapia Po-Boy and Greek Salads.
