Tensho Kotai Jingu Kyo is a Japanese religion founded by Sayo Kitamura, known to her followers as Ogamisama. The beliefs are focused on purging the roots of evil: regret, desire, hatred, fondness, love and being loved excessively. Singing and dancing are an important part of the religion's preaching. The Northern California Division was founded in 2001 and is located just off Highway 101 in San Mateo.
