The company started as Tishman West, and became Tishman International Companies in 1992 when its U.S. leasing and management operations were sold to American Express Company. Notable projects on the West Coast include 21st Century Insurance Company Headquarters in Los Angeles, Arco Plaza in Downtown Los Angeles, Columbia Seafirst Center in Seattle and Security Pacific Bank headquarters in Los Angeles.

This office serves as headquarters for the company, which also has offices in Europe for its international ventures.
