The West Bay Model Railroad Association, founded in 1947, has been located in the same building since 1950. It can be found 100 feet away from the Menlo Park Caltrain Station, in the same building as the bike storage area. The WBMRA displays model railroad in three different scales (HO, S, and O), and is designed to be looked at from all sides. The display also includes platforms so that it can be viewed from higher angles. The WBMRA is open free to the public only on the fourth Wednesday of every month. This display, which includes tunnels, bridges, and cuts, constantly undergoes updates and modifications. In addition to the official website, the WBMRA also has a Ning site.
