A life long dream of owning a horror and sci-fi collectables shop led the owner to open the Gorehound's Playground. A lover of all things cinema, Jeff collected thousands of new old and unusual films on bluray and dvd. Jeff opened this unique store and immediately the response was great. The store look changes almost constantly as new items arrive and customers offer suggestions for more items to be carried.
Specialties
We have launched a very unique business. We carry thousands of blu-rays and dvds for sale or rent. Hundreds of these are rare and oop titles that cannot be found anywhere. We feature horror as a main draw, but we offer all the major genres as well. As customer make requests, we scour the internet to find and add those items to our huge library. We carry unusual items to complement the movie selection. Toys, figures, clothing, patches and pins, posters, card and board games, Magic the Gathering, t-shirts, and more. We have an in house lounge type theater. Seating over 25 and featuring Dolby Atmos capability, we can show the old and new films with amazing quality. The theater is available for private events as well. With a snack bar located in the lounge area you can get your favorite snacks and drinks at anytime.
