Formerly the railroad depot for the Denver South Park and Pacific Railway, The Jefferson Depot has stood at the gateway to the South Park Valley for nearly 150 years welcoming travelers to the breadth and beauty of western Colorado. Located at the base of Kenosha Pass on US 285, the distinct blue train depot building offers respite for travelers passing to and from Denver and towns located in Colorado's central mountains. We are open year-round. On week-days, service is run out of the red building - the newly renovated, Boxcar (formerly the Hungry Moose Caboose). The Boxcar provides indoor ordering, cafe-style seating, and [in the near future] a small retail section - featuring healthful, high-end choices for snacks, juices, teas, and grab-n-go treats. The 1880s Jefferson Train Depot (blue building) is home to our bar providing comfortable indoor dining, an indoor restroom, televised entertainment, and free Wi-Fi. Join us on Saturdays from 3-6 for live music by Full Moon Eye.
