Windsor High School
Windsor High School offers educational instruction to students from grades nine through 12. The school enrolls more than 1,000 students and is governed by the Windsor School District. It offers classes in as mathematics, English, French, Spanish, science and technology, social studies, language arts, health education, computer science, arts and crafts, music and physical education. Located in Windsor, Conn., its library resource center has more than 20,000 volumes and provides access to various online databases for student and staff research. It has athletic teams for wrestling, basketball, soccer, hockey, football, cross country,, swimming, volleyball and hockey. Windsor High School offers various extracurricular activities, such as art and drama clubs, French Honor Society, athletic clubs, Future Business Leaders of America, National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, tomahawk, yearbook and math club. The school also supports a Unified Sports Program in which students are paired with other students with significant learning disabilities.
