As a Virginia native, I am excited to work within the D.C. area with the patients and team at Washington Eye Doctors. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from James Madison University with a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology, and I obtained my Doctorate of Optometry in Philadelphia, where I was an Accelerated Scholar's Student at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. I completed my clinical training with Honors working alongside various eye-care providers across the United States. My most memorable training experience was my time in Bethel, Alaska. Here, I worked with the Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation to manage ocular disease and primary eye care within Bethel and neighboring villages. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my adorable cat, Clyde, and visiting my family on the Eastern Shore of Virginia.
