Established in 1960, the U.S. Grains Council is a private, nonprofit organization that builds and develops export markets for barley, corn, sorghum and related products. Also known as USGC, the council maintains more than five international offices. It administers various market development programs in over 50 countries. The U.S. Grains Council s membership includes producer organizations and agriculture businesses. The council maintains an online media center. Its technical programs educate livestock and poultry producers.
