Voice of America is the official external radio and television broadcasting service of the United States federal government. It broadcasts more than 1,000 hours of news, information, educational and cultural programs every week in over 45 languages. It has a professional staff of more than 1,100 people that provides services to over 115 million audiences worldwide. It operates various radio broadcast studios, production and recording studios, audio mixing and dubbing stations, video editing suites, and facilities for master control, recording and scheduling. It broadcasts a wide range of programs, such as America's Global College Forum , Africa News Tonight , A Woman's World and Agriculture Report . The Voice of America, established in 1942, is located in Washington, D.C.
