History
The history of Baldwin-Fairchild Cemeteries and Funeral Homes begins in 1972 when Richard O. Baldwin Jr. founded the first Baldwin Funeral Home in the Goldenrod area of Orlando. In 1974, Mr. Baldwin expanded to Altamonte Springs; he added All Faiths Memorial Park in Casselberry to the business in 1978. In 1980, Richard further expanded after he opened a facility in Ivanhoe when he acquired Fairchild Funeral Home and Crematory. He also acquired 2 additional funeral homes in the Orlando area: Bray Funeral Home in Apopka and Hoequist Funeral Home in Winter Garden. All 5 of the funeral homes were renamed Baldwin-Fairchild Funeral Homes.
