The Health Planning Council of Northeast Florida is a nonprofit organization dedicated to developing regional, unbiased research and evidence based initiatives that promote healthy communities, lifestyles and improve accessible quality healthcare. We are one of 11 local planning councils mandated by Florida State Statute 408.033 to dedicate resources and expertise to community-based health needs assessments, healthcare utilization studies, management of health-related quality-of-life indicators and the development of effective collaborative partnerships. For over 40 years, the Health Planning Council has been making the region healthier by providing health planning and assessment services to its service delivery area of Baker, Clay, Duval, Flagler, Nassau, St. Johns and Volusia Counties. As a neutral regional planning entity with offices in both Duval and Volusia Counties, they provide a range of expertise without bias or conflicts of interest to build a healthier NE FL region.
