In 1952 K.W. Robison moved his family from Moultrie, Georgia to Fernandina Beach and established Robison Jewelry Co on Downtown Centre Street. In 1966 Robison sold his thriving business to Bob Whitaker, a native of North Carolina who had come to Amelia Island as a mill worker in the mid 50's. In 1975 Whitaker relocated Robison's one block west to its current address at 217 Centre Street. Following a major historic renovation of Center Street in the late 70's, Robison's experienced a period of significant growth. Elder son Jeff joined the family business in 1986, followed by younger son Brett two years later. Today Jeff and Brett balance family responsibilities with the daily challenges and rewards of operating a full-service, fine jewelry store. Jeff and Brett currently manage the daily operations, supported by a dedicated staff of jewelry professionals. Our dedicated staff of professionals invites you to experience our over 50 years of quality, service, and down-home comfort.
