Royal Palm Beach Code Enforcement, established in 1959, is one of the departments administered and governed by the village council of Royal Palm Beach in Florida. The department s areas of operations include preservation of neighborhoods, enhancement of commercial and residential areas, blight prevention, and protection of the health, safety and welfare of residents. It grants building permits and occupational licenses, undertakes facility inspections and enforces regulations for construction, parking, signage, animals and abandoned motor vehicles. The other departments of the city include planning and zoning, building, clerk's office, community development, finance, and engineering and public works. The department provides community and municipal services to more than 30,000 residents, and is located in Royal Palm Beach, Fla.
