Mr. Owston serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Florida Capital Bank, N.A He is responsible for bank operations around Florida. Additionally, he is President and CEO of Florida Capital Bank of Central Florida. Mr. Owston established the bank's operations in the Central Florida market in 2005. Prior to joining Florida Capital Bank in August 2005, Mr. Owston spent 20 years with Wachovia Bank, formerly First Union. During his career with Wachovia Bank, Mr. Owston served in various leadership and business development roles within the Florida market. Before joining Wachovia Bank, he was a commercial banker with SunTrust Bank in Orlando. Mr. Owston attended the University of Florida and the University of Central Florida and holds a bachelor's degree in Finance. Florida Capital Bank Mortgage Mark F. Johnson is President and CEO of Florida Capital Bank Mortgage, a Division of Florida Capital Bank, N.A He was formerly the founder, President and CEO of Florida Bank Mortgage from 2002-2004, and from 1976-2002, he served HomeSide Lending, Inc, as Executive Vice President of Production and Secondary Marketing, as well as many other senior level positions. Prior to its acquisition by Washington Mutual in 2002, HomeSide Lending was the 7th largest mortgage banking company in the country. Mr. Johnson is past Chairman of the Mortgage Bankers Association of America Secondary and Capital Markets committee and a member of both the FannieMae Southeast Regional Advisory Board and the GMAC Residential Funding Corporation Advisory Board. Mr. Johnson received his bachelor's degree at Valdosta State College and is a graduate of the MBA's School of Mortgage Banking at Northwestern University. He is a native of Jacksonville, Florida. Prior to joining Florida Capital Bank, Mr. Bishop spent 19 years with Wachovia Bank. He was most recently the Commercial Bank Director for Wachovia in Palm Beach and the City Executive for Boca Raton. He has also served as the Commercial Bank Manager for Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties, as well as various other leadership and relationship management positions during his career with Wachovia, First Union and Southeast Bank. He is a native Floridian from Miami. Mr. Bishop is active in the community, serving on the board of directors of the Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce and the board of directors for The Centre for the Arts at Mizner Park. He serves on the Boca Raton Community Hospital Foundation Board and is on the executive and investment committees, as well as various subcommittees. He serves on the board of the Optimist Foundation of Boca Raton. In addition, he was nominated for the 2003 South Florida Leading Man Award, sponsored by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and based on business, charitable involvement, leadership and the individual's positive impact on the community. Florida Capital Bank of Tampa Bay Prior to joining Florida Capital Bank in August 2005, Mr. Faircloth served as Executive Vice President for Mercantile Bank's Tampa region, overseeing the bank's commercial lending activities. He has more than 19 years of banking experience and has also been employed by Florida Bank, SouthTrust Bank and First Florida Bank.
