Bulloch Academy is the only non-parochial independent school in Bulloch County. It imparts education to students from Kindergarten through twelfth grade. The school is partly funded by the Georgia Lottery and has more than 500 students. In grades one through five, students are taught the disciplines of language arts, mathematics, social studies and science. Time is also devoted to computer technology, physical education, art and music. At the high-school level, Bulloch Academy delivers a curriculum of upper-level courses in English, mathematics, science, social studies and foreign language. The school organizes and participates in wide array of varsity and junior varsity athletics, such as soccer, basketball, baseball, tennis, football, wrestling, softball, cross country and track. Bulloch Academy is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. It is located in Statesboro, Ga.
