Central Park Recreation Center can be found within Central Park. The recreation center includes a wide range of facilities such as, two basketball gyms, a fitness area, mezzanine walking area, a meeting room and classrooms. The meeting room is available to rent for business gatherings, birthday parties and wedding/baby showers. The classrooms are used for art, fitness, and dance classes. On September 28, 2010, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held to officially open the expansion of the recreation center. There is now 15,000 sq. ft. of added space that includes three rooms for adult and youth programs, and a sizable banquet room.
