The Masonic Home of Georgia, founded in 1905, is a nonprofit residential child care facility that provides care programs for children. The organization features more than three halls, bedrooms and cottages, as well as a kitchen and laundry room. It encourages children to broaden their social circle through peers who do not reside at the facility. The Masonic Home of Georgia also sponsors trips and events. The organization administers a camp that serves children aged 15 and younger in Shellmans Bluff in Georgia. In addition, it works to prepare children and families for reunification whenever possible. The Masonic Home of Georgia manages an education department.
