When surveyed by CARF during 2005 the survey committee made the following observations: The board of directors and executive director represent many years of service to the organization. Together they provide vision, leadership, direction and structure to the organization. The organization has an excellent training program for staff members, providing them with the support and information they need to carry out their job duties. The dedication of staff members is commended and is manifested in a variety of ways, including their longevity, commitment to those they serve, the quality of care provided and their enthusiasm. There is a high level of satisfaction from persons served and their families with services received from Paulding Enterprises. Employers also expressed a high satisfaction level with the quality of the work of the consumers in the supported employment program and the staff involvement. A variety of community inclusion opportunities are given to persons served to choose from on a monthly and ongoing basis. Persons served are able to request selected staff members as part of their team. It is evident that the persons served have a great deal of input into the decisionmaking process with regard to their programs and services.
