Take a step back into the Civil War era of the past when you visit the 1845 Smith Plantation in historic Roswell, a suburb approximately 30 minutes north of Atlanta. The plantation is now on the National Register of Historic Places and is one of the three Antebellum homes in the area.

Parking is available across the street from the plantation at the Cultural Arts Center and at Roswell City Hall.
Best and worst time to go to the Smith Plantation
The plantation is open year round with the exception of major holidays and there are typically not long wait times. Guided tours start on the hour, but self-guided tours are available if you miss the start of one and do not have time to wait.
Admission to the Smith Plantation
Children under six are free, ages six to 12 are $6, seniors are $7 and adults are $8. Trilogy passes are available for those interested in visiting all three homes for $15 - $18. AAA discounts are available as well. The plantation is open from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Monday thru Saturday and 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. on Sundays.

Take the short one hour tour to get an insiders glimpse into the rich history of the plantation, generations who resided there and the town of Roswell itself.
