Founded in 1881, the United States Tennis Association (USTA) is a not-for-profit organization that serves as the governing body for tennis in the United States. The organization owns the US Open and selects members of the Davis Cup, Fed Cup, Olympic and Paralympic teams.
The USTA is divided into 17 sections, the largest of which is USTA Southern, located in Norcross on Spalding Drive, three blocks west of Peachtree Parkway. USTA Southern is the largest section, with 185,000 members across nine states. See the website for more information, and for USTA apparel and shoes.
