Speedemissions is a vehicle emissions and safety inspection testing company. Its business is to conduct the vehicle emission or smog test and safety inspection for automobiles, vans, sport-utility vehicles and pick-up trucks. The company owns more than 30 emission/safety inspection stations, including nearly 15 stations in greater Atlanta; more than 10 in Houston; and nearly 10 in Salt Lake City. The company was founded for the sole purpose of developing its own vehicle emission testing stations and to make strategic acquisitions of selected competitors in markets identified for future growth.
