Upper Chattahoochee Riverkeeper is an independent environmental protection organization that is dedicated to secure and preserve the Chattahoochee River and its connected waterways. The Chattahoochee River Basin provides drinking water for over 11 million people, and it is being continuously affected by unplanned development, storm runoff, and pollution. Upper Chattahoochee Riverkeeper uses a variety of methods, from education to legal action, to ensure its safety. They also host a number of fun and educational fundraising events, including river races and paddleboating. The office is located in Puritan Mills, in the lane next to The Foundry.
