Dedicated to the profession and professionalism of counselors in Georgia, the Licensed Professional Counselors Association of Georgia is recognized as the Most Outstanding State Association in the USA by the American Mental Health Counselors Association The organization represents the interests of licensed professional counselors (LPCs) and raises public awareness about mental health issues and the role LPCs play in the community. Membership is open to professional counselors, counselor educators and counseling students, interns and associates who have an interest in the advancement of the counseling profession. It is located in downtown Decatur in the Wachovia Bank building between Church Street and Chandler Road.
