The African American Christian Foundation (AACF) Computer Learning Center was established in 1985 to help people of all backgrounds get the skills they need to land jobs.
The center, which is mainly funded by Cook County, offers job training programs, academic tutoring sessions in reading and math, and computer skills training.
In addition, the AACF hosts an annual career workshop and luncheon, where those looking for work can deliver their resumes directly to employers.
