Arlington Montessori School (AMS) educates children ages three to six by instilling and nurturing an inherent love of learning. The school was founded on and abides by the principals of Maria Montessori, Italy's first female doctor and a global advocate for childhood education. AMS believes every child is unique and should be treated as such, while being educated in a group environment. The school seeks to encourage children to develop social and intellectual abilities by working freely, both independently and in groups.
