Bethel Bible Church was founded on September 11, 1966 as a result of two churches merging: Bethel Baptist Church of Evergreen Park and Grace Bible Church of Chicago.
Lead by Pastor Steve Worsham, Bethel Bible Church has a worldwide missionary focus, supporting 17 missions in 7 countries. The church's local ministry includes Bible classes; a children's church geared toward that age group; a Tuesday-evening AWANA club for grades K-6; a Thursday drop-in recreational program called "The Village," for high school students; and DNA, Dead Now Alive, a high school Bible study group.
Sunday school starts at 9:30am and directly after, Sunday worship starts at 10:30am. Men's study and women's prayer time are both at 7pm on Wednesdays.
